![]() ![]() ![]() The espira reels are great too they have more drag settings and there is another one I can’t remember the name but it’s light blue and has 8 drag settings as well that is the reel I think you are looking for because of the versatility. Because of this feature when you get a bite the fish is on it sets the hook for you then you can jerk the rod. Just need to figure out how to book a trip and not lose money now. Have also brought in 20 lb plus snook and drum. You can use a spinning setup but only if you are using very small finesse spinnerbaits. I bring in unique largemouth bass with that setup because the rod does all the work. An ideal spinnerbait rod and reel setup is a 6 to 7 foot casting rod with a baitcasting reel and either flourocarbon or monofilament line between 10 and 15 lbs in breaking strain. I personally use both the salmonster setups for bigger fish and I use the Jigwinner 8,10 with a prima with 8 lb test. ![]()
